The adorable design piece is hand embroidered and hand cross stitched, with no thread bare areas. There stitching is against a cream colored background. There are beautiful details throughout. There are no holes, tears or stains. This sampler would be awesome framed or used to applique on the front of a large throw pillow! We found no flaws (stains, tears or holes) to note on this sampler.
