Vintage, Scrappy Orange and Blue 9 Patch Quilt

Make: Hand Quilted & Machine Pieced
Stitches per inch (SPI): 4 to 5
Details: This is what we would call a HEAVY weight quilt. Instead of batting this quilt has an old quilt inside of it, making is extra warm and cozy! The quilting has been finished in the Baptist fan style. Note the scrappy style flour sack frame on this quilt. The large scale 9 patch blocks measure10.5” wide and the squares measure 3.5” wide. The backing is cream muslin. The binding edge was brought around from the back to the front and hand applied. We found no through holes or stains. There are a handful of small shatters to a couple blocks. Photographed for reference! This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
