Detailed Description:
Vintage Rainbow 9 Patch Quilt with Prairie Points
Dimensions: 75” X 83”
Make: Hand Quilted & Machine Pieced
Stitches per inch (SPI): 6 to 7
Details: This is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift inside. There may be minimal shift where there is some shattering in the border, but there are no lumps. The squares in the design measure approximately 2”. The listed measurements do not include the 1” prairie points, on all four sides. The points are made out of the same fabrics that the nine patch squares are made out of. It is a soft white background with multicolored nine patches. Each nine-patch block has a solid cotton coordinated with a cotton print. The quilting design between the blocks is four-leaf clovers. There’s a white wide border on all four sides with nine patch blocks at the very corner of each. We found no holes or stains. There is some wear throughout, nothing major, but has made the quilt super soft. The main wear is on the prairie points. And the top and bottom edge, appears that it could’ve used a beard guard. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
