Vintage Purple and White Church/Chaplain Quilt
Dimensions: 81” X 92”
Make: Hand Embroidered & Hand Quilted & Machine Pieced

Condition: 4 Stars
Details: We love the two-tone color scheme - only purple and white cottons! The ground is soft white cotton, with solid purple blocks, that have hand embroidered names and dates, which highlight the history of a church. One block would appear to show that the quilt was completed in 1972. The binding is white cotton that has been hand applied. The backing is solid purple. This is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilt. We found no holes, tears or seam pops. Note there is fading.color loss to the purple frame on the top edge. Please see pictures for reference. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
