Vintage Friendship Quilt with Sawtooth Border
Dimensions: 72” X 82”
Make: Hand Quilted, Hand Pieced & Machine Pieced, & Hand Embroidered
Stitches per inch (SPI): 9 to 10
Details: This is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift inside the quilt. This quilt has wonderful craftsmanship to the even, petite quilting stitches to the hand embroidered names. It is circa 1940. Some of the beautiful names are Estes, Cora, Nanny, Lula & Grace. The blocks are 9.5” wide. The background of the quilt blocks are a soft back. The sashing blocks are peach. There is also a peach and light sage alternating sawtooth double border on two sides, matching frame on the top and bottom. This quilt is in awesome shape. There are no seam pops, holes, tears, or stains. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
