Make: Hand Pieced, Hand Embroidered & Machine Quilted

Details: The bold solid colored sashing on this quilt is striking! The sashing divides name blocks that are multi-colored, with repeat prints! So cool! Each block features a name at the center, which has been hand embroidered. Some of the blocks include a location as well. Each block measure 16” across (point to point) The backing of this quilt is a light orange cotton. This quilt is all cotton and flour sack materials. In leu of binding, this quilt has been finished with a knives edge. This is what we would call a light to medium weight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilt. We found no through holes or seam pops. There is a small tear to the solid orange sashing and a couple small stains/spots. Please see pictures for reference. Note the brown dye transfer, visible on the backside. Also pictured. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
