Vintage Bright, Pink Grandma's Fan Quilt
Dimensions: 75” X 83”
Make: Hand Quilted & Hand Appliqued. Hand & Machine Pieced
Stitches per inch (SPI): 11
Details: This is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps inside the quilt. The quilt is all muslin cottons. The fan’s bases are all bright pink and the same bright pink fabric is used for the frame on all four sides. The background is bright white and the back fabric is matching. In the fans there is variety of cotton prints, mainly florals. The fan blocks measure 8“. The binding is knifes’ edge, with the front and back fabric being sanwhiched together to create the edge of the quilt. There are no holes, tears, or seam pops. We found some fading in the pink border/frame and one spot/stain. Photographed for referece. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
