Vintage, 1930 Soft Prints Amazing Wedding Ring Quilt

Make: Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted

Stitches per inch (SPI): 11

Details: Incredible, embroidered history on this quit! The back says “ piece by a Myrtle Weidman 1930. Quilted by Allie Weidman.” The wedding rings have been completed using beautiful calico and petite soft prints. The rings measure 25.5” in diameter. The soft prints continue through the intersections with no real pattern, specification or color, create the optical illusion that the rings continue! Note the rings create scalloped edges on all four sides. The ground is stark, white. The backing and binding are both soft pink. This is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilt. We found no holes tears or seam pops. There is 1 spot/stain, which was not spot treated.

This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
